4 August 2008 S/2008/528 This was the letter transmitting the concept paper by the Belgian Presidency stressing the purpose of an open debate on implementing the presidential note in S/2006/507.
11 July 2008 S/2008/455 This was the letter from the chair of the Working Group submitting his report on its activities from 1 July 2007 to 30 June 2008 and addressing various aspects of the Group’s working methods.
20 June 2008 S/2008/418 This was the letter from the Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the President of the Security Council on behalf of the S-5 requesting a meeting on the topic of working methods to which all interested member states would be invited.
20 March 2008 S/2008/195 This was the report of the fifth annual workshop for the newly elected members of the Security Council, which was held on 15 and 16 November 2007.
31 December 2007 S/2007/784 This was the letter from the Permanent Representative of Slovakia to the President of the Security Council summarising the 13 December 2007 Arria formula meeting on “Enhancing and widening interaction and dialogue between the Security Council and other United Nations Member States, as part of the implementation of the 2005 World Summit Outcome Document.”
9 March 2007 S/2007/137 This was the report of the fourth annual workshop for the newly elected members of the Security Council, which was held on 29 and 30 November 2006.
21 November 2006 S/2006/928 This letter requested that the Secretariat provide an updated version of the descriptive index of notes and statements by the Council president relating to documentation and procedure.
3 August 2006 S/2006/653 This was a letter from the permanent representative of the Tanzania to the president of the Security Council containing the report of the Security Council’s work in January, under the presidency of Tanzania.
26 June 2006 S/2006/483 This was the report of the third annual workshop for the newly elected members of the Security Council, which was held on 28 and 29 November 2005.
16 May 2006 S/2006/354 This was the letter of the Council President to the Secretary-General informing him of the establishment of the Ad-Hoc Committee and inviting a senior member of the Secretariat staff to participate in the relevant meeting.
25 October 2005 S/2005/504 This was a letter from the Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations transmitting the assessment of the work of the Security Council during the presidency of Greece (July 2005).
31 March 2005 S/2005/228 This was the report of the second annual workshop for the newly elected members of the Security Council, which was held on 9 and 10 December 2004.
18 March 2005 S/2005/188 This was from Brazil to the Secretary-General inviting member states to participate in the 30 March wrap-up session on the Council's work for the month.
19 February 2004 S/2004/135 This was the report of the first annual workshop for the newly elected members of the Security Council, which was held on 13 and 14 November 2003.
5 February 2004 S/2004/99 This was a letter from the Permanent Representatives of Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, India, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan and South Africa to the President of the Security Council raising concerns that meetings with TCCs have largely been of a purely informative and technical nature with little or no relevance for Council decisions, and that the inclusion of major stakeholders will also create a considerable incentive for the general membership to support peacekeeping operations.
