He is also expected to brief on the Secretary-General’s visit to Central Asia due to take place in the first half of June. UNRCCA was established in 2007 for an open-ended time period.

This will be the sixth briefing since the establishment of UNRCCA in December 2007 and will provide Council members with an update on the Centre's activities in the past six months. No Council decision is expected.
