21 April 2004 S/RES/1538 This resolution welcomed the inquiry into the oil-for-food programme.
24 November 2003 S/RES/1518 This resolution established a sanctions committee.
16 October 2003 S/RES/1511 This resolution reaffirmed the temporary nature of the Coalition Provisional Authority, endorsed the interim administration, called for a political timetable, authorised the MNF to maintain security and stability during 12 months. It also determined the status of the MNF and its relation to the UN, and asked the US to report every six months.
14 August 2003 S/RES/1500 This resolution welcomed the establishment of the "broadly representative" Governing Council of Iraq and created UNAMI.
22 May 2003 S/RES/1483 The Council recognised the occupying powers, requested the Secretary-General to appoint a Special Representative for Iraq, established sanctions against the previous Iraqi government, created the DFI and envisaged the termination of the oil-for-food programme within six months.
24 April 2003 S/RES/1476 This resolution extended the adjustments to the oil-for-food programme introduced by resolution 1472 until 3 June 2003.
28 March 2003 S/RES/1472 This resolution called on all parties to abide by humanitarian law and made adjustments to the oil-for-food programme to deal with changes in the humanitarian situation following the US-led invasion.
8 November 2002 S/RES/1441 This resolution decided that Iraq was in breach of its international obligations due to its lack of cooperation with UNMOVIC inspectors and decided to resume weapons inspections in Iraq and deplored the failure by Iraq to account for Kuwaiti and third-country nationals wrongfully detained.
5 December 2000 S/RES/1330 This resolution reduced Iraq’s contribution to the UNCF was to 25 percent of the revenue generated by its exports of petroleum and petroleum products.
17 December 1999 S/RES/1284 This resolution established UNMOVIC and requested the Secretary-General to report to the Council every four months on the compliance by Iraq with its obligations regarding the repatriation or return of all Kuwaiti and third-country nationals.
14 April 1995 S/RES/986 This resolution established the oil-for-food program.
4 March 1994 S/RES/899 This resolution authorised the payment of compensation to private Iraqi citizens relocated following the demarcation of the border between Iraq and Kuwait.
27 May 1993 S/RES/833 This resolution welcomed the Secretary-General's decision for the maintenance of the boundary until other arrangements were made by Iraq and Kuwait.
19 August 1991 S/RES/705 This resolution endorsed the Secretary-General’s suggestion that the compensation to be paid by Iraq should not exceed 30 percent of the annual value of its exports of petroleum and petroleum products.
15 August 1991 S/RES/706 The Council requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the repatriation or return of all Kuwaiti and third-country nationals.
