10 October 2013 S/RES/2121 This resolution updated the BINUCA mandate in five areas.
24 January 2013 S/RES/2088 This resolution extended BINUCA for twelve months and requested the Secretary-General to provide a report on the situation on the ground, as well as an assessment of the implementation of the mission’s priorities by 31 March, possibly allowing for an adjustment to the mandate.
21 December 2011 S/RES/2031 This resolution extended the mandate of BINUCA for another 13 months.
31 August 2006 S/RES/1706 This resolution set a mandate for UN Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) in Darfur; mandated a multidimensional UN presence in Chad and the Central African Republic; and requested recommendations.
22 October 1999 S/RES/1271 This resolution noted elections and extended mandate of the UN Mission in the Central African Republic (MINURCA) for a final period until February 2000.
26 February 1999 S/RES/1230 This resolution extended the UN Mission in the Central African Republic mandate until 15 November 1999 and announced the Council's intention to close the mission by that date, and to review the mandate every 45 days on the basis of reports by the Secretary-General on the implementation of commitments made by the Central African Republic president.
15 October 1998 S/RES/1201 This resolution welcomed the announcement of elections and extended the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic (MINURCA) mandate.
14 July 1998 S/RES/1182 This resolution extended the mandate of the UN Mission in the Central African Republic until 25 October 1998 and requested that the Secretary-General report to the Council by 25 September on the progress of MINURCA and toward the implementation of commitments expressed in the letter of the President of CAR of 8 January 1998.
27 March 1998 S/RES/1159 This resolution established United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic.
16 March 1998 S/RES/1155 This resolution extended the Chapter VII authorisation for the Inter-African Mission to Support the Bangui Agreements (MISAB) until 27 March 1998 and affirmed that it would take a decision on a UN Peacekeeping force by that date.
5 February 1998 S/RES/1152 This resolution expressed the Security Council's intention to take a decision by 16 March 1998 on the establishment of a United Nations peacekeeping operation in the Central African Republic on the basis of a report by the Secretary-General that was to be submitted by 23 February 1998.
6 November 1997 S/RES/1136 This resolution authorised for three months, under Chapter VII, the Member States participating in the Inter-African Mission to Support the Bangui Agreements and those states providing logistical support to ensure the security of their personnel with expenses borne on a voluntary basis.
6 August 1997 S/RES/1125 This resolution authorised Inter-African Mission to monitor the implementation of the Bangui Agreements (MISAB) peacekeeping.
