29 June 2011 S/RES/1992 Extended the temporary redeployment of armed helicopters from UNMIL to UNOCI until 30 September 2011.
3 March 2011 S/RES/1971 This resolution discontinued the authorisation for UNMIL to provide a military guard force to the Special Court for Sierra Leone in Freetown.
16 February 2011 S/RES/1968 This resolution extended the temporary redeployment of troops and helicopters from UNMIL to UNOCI for a further three months.
19 January 2011 S/RES/1967 This resolution authorised an increase of 2,000 troops in the overall strength of UNOCI military personnel and extended the mandate of troops temporarily deployed from the UNMIL to UNOCI.
17 December 2010 S/RES/1961 This resolution renewed the arms embargo on Liberia and the travel ban on persons considered a threat to peace and stability in the country for a further 12 months and renewed the mandate of the Panel of Experts until 16 December 2011.
24 November 2010 S/RES/1951 This resolution authorised the Secretary-General to temporarily redeploy troops and two utility helicopters from UNMIL to UNOCI for four weeks to cover the election period in Côte d'Ivoire.
15 September 2010 S/RES/1938 With this resolution the Council extended the mandate of UNMIL for another year.
17 December 2009 S/RES/1903 This resolution renewed the targeted sanctions regime for Liberia for a further 12 months and extended the mandate of the Panel of Experts until 20 December 2010.
15 September 2009 S/RES/1885 This resolution extended UNMIL's mandate until 30 September 2010.
19 December 2008 S/RES/1854 This resolution renewed the sanctions regime for Liberia for a further 12 months and also extended the mandate of the panel of experts that monitors implementation of the regime until 20 December.
29 September 2008 S/RES/1836 This resolution renewed the mandate of the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) for 12 months and endorsed the Secretary-General's recommendations for the mission's drawdown. The Council also welcomed UNMIL's continuing efforts to promote and protect the rights of civilians, in particular children and women.
18 June 2008 S/RES/1819 This resolution requested the Secretary-General to extend the mandate of the Panel of Experts on Liberia until 20 December 2008.
21 December 2007 S/RES/1793 This resolution extended the mandate of UN Integrated Office in Sierra Leone (UNIOSIL) until 30 September 2008. It also granted exemption from the Council's travel ban for witnesses who might need to appear before the Special Court for Sierra Leone (dealing with the trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylor).
19 December 2007 S/RES/1792 This resolution extended sanctions for a year and the mandate of the Panel of Experts on Liberia for six months.
20 September 2007 S/RES/1777 This resolution extended the mandate of UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) until 30 September 2008 and endorsed the recommendation of the Secretary-General to decrease the size of the military and police components.
