9 November 2021 S/PRST/2021/22 The statement reaffirmed the links between development, peace and security, and human rights – the three pillars of the UN system. It further noted that exclusion and inequality may have an effect as aggravating factors in situations considered by the Council and emphasised that inclusivity is key to advancing national peacebuilding processes and objectives. The negotiations on the draft presidential statement were not easy, despite the fact that the text is based largely on agreed language.
28 October 2021 S/PRST/2021/21 This presidential statement commended the UN-AU partnership and stressed that it should further develop into a systematic, operational, and strategic partnership rooted in shared values and a strong commitment to multilateralism.

23 July 2021 S/PRST/2021/13 This presidential statement reaffirms the status of Varosha as set out in previous resolutions and condemned the announcement in Cyprus by Turkish and Turkish Cypriot leaders on 20 July 2021 on the further reopening of a part of the fenced-off area of Varosha.
15 July 2021 S/PRST/2021/12 This presidential statement welcomed the second Berlin Conference on Libya, which was held on 23 June 2021.
24 May 2021 S/PRST/2021/11 This presidential statement addressed the threat posed by improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to peacekeepers, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on peacekeeping operations and the vaccination rollout to peacekeepers.
19 May 2021 S/PRST/2021/10 This presidential statement concern that despite having suffered some of the COVID-19 pandemic’s worst socioeconomic impacts, Africa has to date received just 2 percent of vaccine doses produced globally. In the statement, the Council reiterated the need to enable equitable access to quality, safe, efficacious and affordable COVID-19 diagnostics, therapeutics, medicines and vaccines to all, including the most vulnerable.
