14 July 2020 S/PV.8746 This was the Council's first physical meeting since 12 March where they considered and adopted without a vote the draft report of the Security Council to the General Assembly covering 1 January to 31 December 2019.

Presenting the report, its introduction’s drafter, the UK, encouraged future presidencies in charge of presenting the report to the Assembly “to report to Council members on relevant suggestions and observations raised during the debate”.
